How to care for motocross graphics
You just bought a new graphics kit for your bike. It looks nice. You'd like it to continue to look nice. Here's what you can do to protect that investment:
Clean your plastics
The most important thing you can to do make sure your graphics last as long as possible is clean your plastics before applying the graphics in the first place, especially if your plastics are brand new!
New plastics often have a slight greasy film on them from the manufacturing processes. This film is designed to keep the finished parts from sticking to the mold, and coincidentally, it's also good at keeping graphics from sticking, too!
Use rubbing alcohol or something similar to make sure your plastics are super clean before installation.
Just ride
Ride the absolute living piss out of your bike. Your graphics are tough, they'll be fine.
Depending on your skill level and technique, you may rub holes through your sidepanel graphics. That's good. You rip.
Grab some reprints
Correct application is all you need to make sure your graphics look great for months, or even years, but when it's finally time for a refresh, you can order reprints of your entire kit or just specific pieces at https://eramoto.com/reprints
